Designer crush

Ever since i saw Millie Mackintosh  wearing this orange jacket in Made in Chelsea last week, i've been obsessed over it. I found out that is alexander macqueen, but at around 1000 £  it is certainly not on my budget... But after a few hours of research online i found one that i also like from topshop. It's not so gorgeous but at 58 £ i can't really ask for much more. It's not leather but i just love the colour and the design from this one. still, i'm gonna start a piggy bank for the one  i really love <3

The wonders of outlets

I am a bargain hunter. I do believe that fashion doesn't have to be expensive,if  you really like it, but you can't afford it, you can always do like me. Search on ebay, second hand stores, and outlet shops. I found this  gharani strok bag in tkmaxx, for the very tinny price of £39, when the original price was £180! It goes with pretty much everything and it always turn heads when i take it somewhere. love it <3

Great bargains

Last december, in portugal, i was window shoping and decided to go to Zara. I knew i couldn't really buy any thing as there was only a few weeks until my flight to england and i couldn't fit a single ant in my bag. I fell in love whit this balerinas, they looked perfect in my feet, i felt like a princess. Still i tought i could find them in the uk. But i didn't. Then last week i asked my mom if she could find them in portugal, but she didn't...i felt really stupid for not having bought them when i had the chance! But destiny as it's own way of doing things and when i really want something, i always get it, sooner or later. So over easter, when  i was visiting family up north, here in england, i went to primark, where i found the gorgeous balerinnas, copy of the ones i really wanted. And the best thing is, instead of £40, they cost just £10!!!i am now a happy happy women !!!

Why a blog?

And why not?
I decided to create a blog becouse i feel an empty... I've always had a diary,my first one was from  the 101 Dalmatians and i bought it with a check  that my godmother gave me on my ninth birthday. It was a sort of retreat and reflection. Since there i always had a diary. I could both spend days without opening it our  write three times a day. It was never exactly a routine, because i was never a great writer, but it was a good habit. I lost it when I was pregnant with my son, 7 years ago. There was not much time or patience and one day i start reading themand decided i should throw them to the sea. (blame it on the hormones!) For some reason i rebelled from the past and refused to look further into it. Today I regret having done so.Anyway, as I said at the beginning, I feel an emptiness, a lack of power to visualize what I feel (if that makes sense), I miss being able to "spend time with my buttons". I created the blog because I think It will be good for me. I'm single for the first time in a long time, my kids are getting more independent, and I'm in a country that i knowvery well, but still is new to me, with a new job and new people. I hope to combine my love of being a housewife, a single mother, the world of fashion, culture and childcare with my old and good habit of writing in a journal. I know that is not the same as opening a book and feel that smell of paper and pen, but it does have the advantage of being more visual and even being personal,  it can be shared!
Let's see if I surrender :)

XOXO
